2001 Audi Tt Headlights Not Working


A lot of times the best place to find OEM parts for retrofits are eBay, there are sellers in Europe that can get the parts a lot cheaper than we can I am now into another 3 months without the issue with no explanation from mechanic or Audi.. For me, I fixed the projector lens being knocked out of place then recalibrated the headlight adjustments using VAG-com to fix my errors. Nick Roshon January 11, 2015 @ 1:44 PM Most likely a problem with the ballast, or the wiring connectors are loose. Any ideas as to how I can do this? check you battery, then check your terminals, then check the headlamp connectors for security, sometimes they just get a little loose. I have a 2003 Audi A4 and I just bought and installed aftermarket headlight housings that have the newer style LED look.

The ballast regulates current going to the bulb. For 10 min so the car could completely reset to factory. I saw another post for the $40 fix - I think I'll have to go that route. 1998 Audi A4 Headlights Not Working Davone Harrison November 12, 2014 @ 10:57 AM No they do not any more.

I had it checked out at the local mechanic and they weren't sure what to do. I've made my own relay harness and the same symptoms happened even though it ran directly off battery power... They called several hours later and pointed out something I had noticed but it didn't register with me as I had bulbs and ballasts running through my mind: The error only Check This Out I'm guessing if you changed your headlight settings in Vag-com you could get it to turn on, although not sure what the benefit would be.

Nick Roshon December 13, 2014 @ 11:08 AM You can adjust the level of the beams, its possible when installing the DRL you knocked the projector out of alignment or angled My only advice is to start following the wiring diagrams and looking for problem components.
