The NAPA P/N is: ECHSL108. 10 minutes later, the problem was solved. The brake lights are not functioning. My Ford lease ends in two months. Did anybody ever find the solution to this problem we all seem to be having?

The part is from Echlin (disty or manufacturer - I'll google them later). Click to expand... I just dug out a wiring diagram - Your right, the 3rd tail light does run off the BPP switch, but so do the main brake lights. It only took about 5 minutes to fix and the part cost me $14.80 + tax. Also is there a recall on this.
