The 12volts for the brake lights originates at that fuse (assuming there is voltage at the fuse block feeding the fuse). Reply » Report Abuse Judge it! The ORANGE wire is the main feed power wire to the switch. Before I replaced tbe brake switch the third light was working now its not. There is one terminal at the connector which is ground.

The tail lights work fine as well. Keep in mind that if you are checking for power with a test light you won't show any voltage unless you turn on each circuit.
