I figure it has to be a fuse, but I pulled the one marked "stop lamp" from the glovebox fuse box and it was fine. Speaking of which, I have to buy one for myself as well. the WORST advice one could ever give and a good way to burn out the circuit or burn the truck to the ground. is it possible the first transmission failure was due to the Brake Light Switch issue? As it stands, all I do know about it is that it could sometimes break and if I recall the cost was $1,000 or there abouts to fix.
