It's been a couple of years since I dealt with this, but I'm thinking the part costs somewhere between $40-80, and it took maybe 30 minutes or so to do. Inappropriate posts may be removed by the moderator. Looks like if you're a surgeon you can replace it without removing the dash... To replace it you need to remove the instrument panel face, unplug the switch (the black button with the red/orange triangle), and pull it out, then put the new one in.
