2000 Chevy Silverado Heater Not Working


I've replace many a heater core in the older trucks but never had any issues with air or lack of heat. That is what caused the sludge in mine (99 S-10 4X4, 4.3) I run the "safe for all makes" green Walmart stuff now cut 50/50. 2000 Silverado Blend Door Actuator

The hose is hot one side and cold the other but I could not find a clog anywhere... Would an air bubble affect my heating? Hi Customer, there is not a restricter on either line, both of those plastic ends on hoses at heater core are quick disconnect fittings, have you tryed flushing out heater core My point is with mine it was a switch/computer issue that some how resolved itself by powering down.

Could regular tap water make the dexcool gunk up over time? He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
