I then checked every fuse on the car and even changed the brake light switch. this contact form I have not seen the issue the OP had but something is causing the circuit to draw to much current and I would suggest checking the connections on the brake light

Checked all fuses and replaced all bulbs. The problem started again a year or so later. Didn't connect the cruise not working to the brake lights even though the brake switch does control both. 2006 Chevy Silverado Brake Light Fuse Location If so is it difficult to change?
Check the VEH STOP fuse. they are not working, bulbs are good, fuse is good. Suggestions clues???/ Do your brake light share the same bulb such as turn signal and running lights? navigate here I had the same problem.
