if the seat doesnt get hot you need to replace the heater pad. I would shoot $30 at a switch before big $$$ on heating elements. just be careful you don't unplug the seat air bags if you have them. The drivers seat is out again and will not be fixed, at least not with the ford leather seat cover that includes the element-- about $500.00 if I recall.
