might just be a brain fart...when i replaced my actuators and i was doing the "testing" I thought they were broke when it had the ssimilar symptoms as yours. If the driver's door is manually unlocked, then the fob will unlock or lock the passenger door, but not until the driver's has been unlocked. Then soon it just starts again? You did mention the door switch had fallen off, check the wiring first.
