Any idea how hard (or possibly dangerous) it would be to replace it? Why is it always the driver side that seems to fail?? Hopefully that should be somewhat easy to replace, and might just fix my problem. It sounds from the service center that this problem may happen again and again.

Loading... I kept looking and found this page. Had the car with Honda again today as they were going to take out the existing compressor. Honda Accord Blowing Hot Air On Driver Side I came up with no error codes.
On the plus side, I have sourced a replacement compressor for £70.I also took a photo of the two power connectors going into the high pressure switch. He tested the compressor, when he put power directly to it, it works and the AC blew ice cold, but otherwise it did not want to switch on. We use data about you for a number of purposes explained in the links below. navigate here Disconnected the pump connection and with engine on and connected a direct 12 v supply to the Pump, it started and A/C worked immediately.
As everyone else is hearing, this repair would not be covered under warranty. Loading... Does that seem odd to anyone else?
