I removed the steering column covers by first removing the retaining screws and pull the lower cover off. The LED's I added test fine, no shorts, and there wasn't any LED wires being grounded. Ours is a little odd, our fuse numbers do not correlate to the diagram in the Owner's manual. Note that passwords are case-sensitive.

I tried every fuse and chassed wires for a couple days....Finally took it to the shop and two days later they had found a ground wire that was bad.....Dont know if I hope that makes sense, its 4:15 am where i am and im really tired. The temperature on the overhead display still works though. Eventually, it shorted so often (without me realizing it) that it cooked a trace on the fuse box circuit board.
