I read that if it still works on hi4 then its your resistor - mine is totally dead so Im going to change the fan motor.

I just pulled the resistor to see what it looks like it it looks OK however I plan to replace it anyway. If the fuse is good and your speed selector switch has continuity you need to buy a new resistor bank.

blower fan not working on any setting.checked the obvious fuse behind the glove box and it was blown replaced with no luck.took out the motor and put direct power to it The max speed setting was slowly giving out over time.
