But the power going into the non working bank of spots is actually coming from the 2nd switch pendant light source. Not the bulb. We have a loft conversion and the loft room is directly above the room with the lighting problem, maybe the void between the 2 rooms is too well insulated against noise Similarly I have changed the light bulb and checked for loose fittings but can't find anything as far as I can see.
the only thing i would make sure is you do not have insulation over them. ie "working" bank to "non-working" transformer and "non-working" bank to "working" transformer. I have also check that only part of the roof (the new extension) has insulation. 2 downlights have gone in the uninsulated roof. Is there any kind of internal fuse that could have blown?Any ideas? https://www.avforums.com/threads/hallogen-spotlights-in-kitchen-not-working.1126612/
