2000 Plymouth Voyager Gauges Not Working


Nov 9 AmberB21 2 2005 Caravan headlight problem (May '08) Oct 18 Dodge Caravan owner 97 dead speedometer--2002 grand caravan (Jan '09) Oct 17 Pat 147 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3 They aren't the same box, right? I grabbed a hold of all the wiring I could around the TCM, PCM and transmission and gave a few shakes, no change. Only reason I am thinking this is because the key goes in, but doesn't always turn the ignition. There should be 12 volts on the Pink wire at cavity 2 and the Red/White Wire at cavity 11. When trying the instrument panel diagnostic, there is no light up at the odometer or trans range for anything. I can resolder the stuff easily. It had the same burn marks on the odometer/trans range boards. Nothing will come on no matter what I do. Chaffed wires at the front of the transmission.

The most frustrating part about this is that I can't reproduce the intermittent dash. The P01698 is telling you that the electrical signal from the trans is not getting to the TCM.
