I did that and also put a tiny bit on the keys, as you can't really get in the keyhole easily. If there is a security protocal associated with removing all four wheels at once, it's not going to be common knowledge.You need to get the dealer to reset your key. and they instructed me to get a lock lubricant to spray in the keyhole and try the key again. I don't think it was the fob battery, because my other fob didn't work either. Prius Keyless Entry Not Working I hope I can avoid that as that battery is quite expensive. It must have been caused by radio interference. (A weather station I have that uses similar frequencies also stopped and started working at the same time.) As for the SmartKey, does the spare fob also not work correctly? I don't know what's going on and I need to get to work tomorrow. Most likely the battery in the fob is weak and needs to be replaced.
